Ground Turkey

So I was searching for a recipe to make tonight for dinner.. and I found this and am going to try it out.. sounds good and simple. (I'll put it at the bottom) Chris made an amazing pork tenderloin last night.. Good job Chris.. It was great, Alex and I watered the flowers and laid in the front yard counting and stacking rocks and Chris made dinner. It was a nice change.

Here's the recipes.

Kerri's Yummy Stuffed Peppers: (got it off a forum)

  • 4 Med. green peppers (tops removed, seeds removed)
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 tsp. Basil
  • 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. Sage
  • S & P  to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 6 oz. cream cheese (I'll use fat-free tonight)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. shredded  cheese of choice (again with the fat-free)

Core and de-seed the peppers. Boil in salted water for 5 minutes (for firmer peppers, don't boil).  Place in a casserole dish. Preheat oven to 350.

Brown onion and turkey in large saucepan. Drain and add the spices and Worcestershire sauce. Over low-med heat, add the tomato sauce and cream cheese  and mix until blended. Turn off heat and add the egg and 3/4 c. of shredded cheese and mix well.

Spoon the mixture into each pepper, top with remaining cheese and Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.

We'll see what happens..

Haha. Naked pictures. Naked pictures while watering the flowers.
Look at how big the little boy has grown. And I love all that hair.
