Thanksgiving

started out horrible..  Depression is a hard thing... Hard on me, hard on Chris and probably subconsciously hard on Alex.  But somehow we went anyway and ended up having a nice time.

We went to Hanford to Chuck and Stacy's house. It was nice to see family and talk to people we hadn't seen in awhile. It was also nice to see Stacy. She's undergoing Chemo and Radiation and we're praying for good results.

Alex and Jordyn played fetch in the backyard, we had yummy dinner and even better homemade pie.  I think God was giving me a gift for the depression that I had had earlier that day. When we arrived we were informed that the turkey was in fact a "deep pit jalapen
o turkey"..  This pregnancy has been all about JALAPENOS...  Abby knows what I mean.  :)  Alex was all about peaches. But not this baby..  So I was very happy with the turkey and even brought some home.

Anyway, here are some photos.. :)

Baby Shower Bash

I got Alex a baby doll to ready him for his little sister to come. He loved it.  Fed the baby, held the baby and then tried to drink the baby's bottle. Sooooo cute.. I think he's going to be a great big brother.

So much fun..  I couldn't of asked for an easier day.  Chuy's really came through. They set up for us, they took great care of us and cleaned up. I highly recommend them for anyone's next party.. Thanks Chuy's!!!

Thanks to everyone who came to the shower. I hope you all had a nice time and were relaxed. Here are a few photos. Thanks Kel & Adrienne for capturing my day.

Did I mention that I had ladybugs in my dreams that night? Not surprised.

Baby Shower

I'm getting excited about the baby shower on Sat.  I'm really glad we changed the location. Although we've had a beautiful week (in the 80's),  it's going to turn cold today. Down to the 60's. So, I think we made the right decision.  Can't wait to see everyone.

Think Ladybug! :)

New Headquarters for Lacey's Photography

Well, it was a long weekend, but Chris and I finally got the computer moved into the living room.  Now the new baby will have her own room.  Here is a view of the new computer armoire that houses all my junk: closed and hiding everything.  It looks better closed. Then there is a photo of how everything fits inside.. We love this piece of furniture and spent forever trying to find the perfect station for me. As it turns out a couple pieces don't fit, but nothing is ever really perfect and we had to be flexible.  Well, I had to be flexible. I didn't want the printers out in the open. But, what's been ordered and built will have to work.  Now the only thing I need it noise reduction head phones to drown out Chris' football games when I'm trying to work. :)

On a side note, this was a very hard step for me to take.  I had major anxiety about this move..(several tearful outbreaks)  Not the move, the moving..  I think most would not understand  the process of cleaning and sorting for someone who is completely anal retentive, OCD and a hoarder..  These are all very serious problems and are very hard to overcome. Especially without medication and being pregnant.  I may portray that I'm happy and got it together, but really I don't and  have a tough time with ANY sort of change to my business or my office.   So, that's all, if you didn't know, now you do. :)

Have a good day. I'm off to Surroundings ALLLLLLL day.. Lord help me.

Alex's New Trick

Sometimes I wonder how I don't have a heart attack when Chris and Alex play. This is what happens when I go in the other room for a few minutes to work or send an email..  Followed by a bunch of running.. His favorite thing to do..

Mom & Dad's Halloween

Late that night when Alex was asleep, Aunt Susie & Matthew came over to babysit for a bit.  We went to a friends house for about and hour. It was fun and here we are. chris said since it was past midnight and it wasn't halloween anymore, he wasn't required to wear a costume. Party Pooper.. But I dressed up with my pregnant self.  :)
