A Day In Fresno

We spent the day in Fresno with family at this park that had and old restored house and a river study/museum. It was hot but fun and the kids had a great time. They got to pet horses, run all around, play T-ball and we had lunch. We also took a walk around the pond.

The bows: I had a client that owed $100 and knowing that times are tough and they've been married for a bit, I let it slide. Well, she sent me home with about 15 bows for Lauren. Thanks Amy. Very cute. Especially when she got  accused of being a boy the other day. The Horror!!!

Lightspeed Softball

I'm so proud of my honey. He hit his first homerun for the season with the Lightspeed "Control Freaks" softball team.

Potty Training

We started asking Alex if he wanted to pee on the potty a couple of days ago and he has peed almost every time. Tonight he wanted to  wear "choo choo pant's" which are Thomas underwear. He had two accidents. So we took them off and he wore nothing but little black socks.  What a sight! so cute!  Anyway, about 20 minutes later he came running holding is peenie and saying "pee, pee" and so we ran and he peed.. We are also using stickers and a sticker box to put the stickers on..  So, it looks like we are making progress and we're very excited.  Good Job Alex!!  :) 

Ladybug Rocks

so recently I went to CALM with Alex and saw a ladybug rock that I wanted to buy. But not for $4...  Outrageous!!!   So, yesterday, we made our own.. Very fun, very cute. Very ladybug...

Pre-Easter in Bakersfield-Teh. Family

We went to Hanford for Easter. Here is Alex hunting for eggs and cousin Aaron was teasing him into putting this very large egg into his basket. Poor Alex doesn't quite understand Stanton humor..  :)

So when I walked back into the room, Lauren had fallen asleep with her bow down around her eyes.. Wow, she's already learning to put up with the hassles of being beautiful.   :) 

CALM

The kids and I met Rachel, Mayra and the kids at CALM today. I swear I did take pictures of the kids(photos to come later), but for now, I'm just putting up the artsy ones that make me photographically happy. :)  I love taking my camera when there's no pressure and I don't feel like I have to "work".. It's so freeing.. Anyway, here are some very special animals. The second owls eyes are damaged due to head trauma. Poor thing.
